This multi-session course (March 10- July 23, 2023) is aimed at providing family place workers and other allied health professionals with tools for understanding and for responding to trauma-rooted behaviours in their clients, as well as how to work more effectively with attendees who have undergone trauma in their lives. We also review the key factors that need to be provided in parenting for children to grow up resilient, and in a manner that increases the chances for parenting past the cycle of trauma.
